Dominic Stevens nominated for another award!

Saturday 01, September 2012

Delighted for Dominic that he has been shortlisted for another prestigious international architecture award.

''The BSI Swiss Architecture award is aimed at architects, regardless of nationality who have “contributed significantly to contemporary architectural culture, showing a particular sensitivity to the context of landscape and environment”.
Dominic Stevens is on a shortlist of 26 architects from across the world. He came to the attention of the jurors because of his imaginative yet affordable designs for houses across the North West. His practice specialises in making affordable rural buildings and has been based in Leitrim since 1999. His €25K house in Cloone was featured in RTE’s Room to Improve and can be seen on www.irishvernacular.com.
His work will be featured in the forthcoming “Green Door” event on the 14th-16th September where inspirational houses and buildings across Leitrim will be open to the public for viewing.''
