Local materials, eco –conscious throughout. Concrete ceilings act as a heat sink, controls temperatures. Solar panels.


CREATIVE ELEMENTS

Modern design. Wood finish reflects the countryside yet the angular build allows the building to make a statement and take its place in the landscape.

Planning:  No problem
Satisfaction Rating: The staff I spoke to are happy in their work environment. The building is however designed for the Dept. and not for specific staff. In that way it needs to be a generic office space.
