INSPIRATION

They wanted the chance to design thir own home. When they found the site they knew it was perfect for them. The only issue was how to get water to the site. They resolved that in a creative way - rain water harvesting.

They had such fun designing their home and loved every minute.

POINT OF INTEREST

Wonderful southwest  view over Lough Allen and the Arigna area mountains.  Over 60 wind turbines on view.  If you’re lucky, fabulous sunsets over the lake.  Four cats!


ECO ELEMENTS

Timber frame, underfloor heating.  Solid fuel stove which unfortunately does not heat water .  Sunroom that gives passive solar.


CREATIVE ELEMENTS
